1. The theme

The talk will focus on "AI industry, academic and market aspects", including but not limited to the following topics:

1. Academic aspects

a)How AI shapes the learning process in technical topics including Python programming, Applied Mathematics, Numerical simulation?

b)How can we balance the fundamental skills learning with the AI products advancement?

2. Market aspects :

a)What significant trends can we notice in the AI tech market in Shanghai?

b)How does the tech market and the university environment interact with each other?

2. Format

The session will begin with a 10-minute presentation by Prof. Hamza, followed by an informal, inclusive, and intellectually engaging discussion. This session welcomes participation from faculty members.

3. Time and venue

Time: 12:20 PM-13:20 PM, Nov. 26th, 2025

Venue: Room 504, Chen Ruiqiu Bldg, Minhang Campus, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Hamza BOUKILI
Mathematics lecturer in Paris Elite Institute of Technology
Taking charge of many fundamental and applied mathematics courses as well as AI projects. Founder of Shanghai Yunsuan Tech company, that works on AI applied to energy optimization and carbon neutrality. He had the honor to meet with President Xi Jinping in his last visit to Shanghai’s “Mosu Space”, April 29th.
