Dr. Kyung Min Kim
Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute
Kyung Min Kim is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute. She teaches courses in academic writing, applied linguistics, and intercultural competence at the Joint Institute. Her research primarily focuses on issues in second language writing and cross-cultural movements in language and literacy. Her core agenda concerns the identity construction of learners from underrepresented groups, including both academic and multilingual identities. Her articles have been published in scholarly journals such as TESOL Quarterly, System, and Teaching in Higher Education.
